A dashboard that brings together the courses you teach, their upcoming deadlines, course resources, and direct links back into Moodle. It runs in your browser, has no server, and only reads from Moodle.
What it does
- Lists your courses and their upcoming activity deadlines.
- Shows each course's resources with direct links to Moodle.
- Keeps the Moodle token only for the browser session.
What you need
- A Moodle web service token. Your Moodle administrator usually provides it; the functions it needs are listed in the documentation.
- A Moodle site that allows requests from the browser (CORS). Some sites block them.
- Git, or the project downloaded as a ZIP from GitHub.
Installation
Run it on your computer
Download the project:
git clone https://github.com/gafapa/moodlia-teacher-dashboard.git cd moodlia-teacher-dashboardOpen
index.htmlin the browser, or serve the folder and visithttp://localhost:4173:python -m http.server 4173
First use
Enter your Moodle address (it must start with https://) and your token.
The dashboard loads your courses. Close the browser to forget the token.
Good to know
- If Moodle blocks browser requests (CORS), the dashboard cannot connect: the site administrator must allow them.
