Analyzes a Moodle course in the browser: participation, submissions, grades, and quiz results. It classifies each student's risk against a passing threshold you set, suggests interventions, and explains how to read every chart. It can optionally write reports with an AI service approved by your institution.
What it does
- Risk classification, alerts, and a prioritized intervention list.
- Course views: activity trends, submission punctuality, quiz results, completion bottlenecks.
- Student views: progress, quiz history, weekly activity, predictions.
- CSV and JSON export of the student list.
What you need
- A Moodle web service token, or a Moodle username and password if your site allows creating tokens from the browser.
- A Moodle site that allows requests from the browser (CORS).
- A computer with Node.js 22 or newer, npm 10 or newer, and Git.
Installation
Run it on your computer
Download the project and install its dependencies:
git clone https://github.com/gafapa/moodlia-analyzer-web.git cd moodlia-analyzer-web npm installStart it and open
http://localhost:5173:npm run dev
First use
Connect with your Moodle address and token.
Choose a course, set the passing threshold, and run the analysis.
Start with the intervention list, then open a student's view for details.
Good to know
- If Moodle blocks browser requests (CORS), the app cannot connect without a change on the Moodle server.
- AI reports leave out names and email addresses but include internal identifiers and grades. Use only a service your institution approves.
- Analysis results are cached in the browser for four hours.
