How installation and use work.

Skills guide an AI assistant; they do not give it access on their own. Moodle access remains controlled by the connection you choose.

Set it up once

  1. Choose an AI workspace that can use reusable skills, such as Codex.
  2. Ask the person who manages that workspace to add the MoodlIA Skills collection.
  3. Connect the workspace to Moodle only through an approved MoodlIA or Moodle Core setup.

Try one small thing

  1. Tell the assistant what you want to prepare in plain language.
  2. Start with a single page, section, or activity rather than a whole course.
  3. Read the proposed content and approve it before it is published in Moodle.

CONCRETE STEPS

Add MoodlIA Skills to an AI workspace

Skills are guidance files for an approved AI workspace; they do not create Moodle access by themselves.

  1. Open the Skills project

    Use the project instructions for the workspace you use, such as Codex.

    Open MoodlIA Skills

  2. Add the collection

    Ask the person who manages your AI workspace to add the collection using that workspace's skill-installation process.

  3. Connect Moodle separately

    Choose either the MoodlIA REST setup, the independent MCP endpoint, or Moodle Core REST. Keep the token private.

  4. Start with one request

    Ask the assistant to prepare one page, activity, or section. Review the proposal before anything is changed in Moodle.
